Dr. Russell S. Phillips, is Director of the Center for Primary Care at Harvard Medical School. He leads programs that are transforming education and care systems, and developing entirely new approaches to improving primary care and health. On the side, he is a primary care general internist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, caring for over 250 patients. A graduate of Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Stanford University School of Medicine, he is currently co-chairing an effort among primary care societies to bring together the primary care disciplines to consider ways that primary care can contribute to improved population health.
