Jennifer joined The MAVEN Project in 2017, and has nearly 20 years of experience in public, industry and governmental accounting. She is a Certified Public Accountant and received both her Master of Science and Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting (Summa Cum Laude in Honor’s Studies) from Texas Tech University. Previously Jennifer has served as the City Manager and Finance Director for the City of Uvalde and as a tax consultant with Ernst & Young, LLP specializing in high net worth individuals and wealthy family groups. She also served as a tax manager for Southern Wealth Management and as the manager and controller for Uvalde Flight Center. Immediately prior to joining The MAVEN Project, Ms. Garver had her own accounting practice providing full service accounting and tax services to small businesses and non-profit organizations.
