MAVEN Project was recently profiled in the National Rural Health Association’s Rural Horizons magazine for our contributions to mentoring in rural health care. Our selfless volunteers understand the value of having a mentor as a medical professional. Dozens of them are actively volunteering as mentors for clinic providers at all levels, helping them navigate everything from patient care to transitioning to roles in leadership. It’s a resource that is especially valuable in rural areas, where health care professionals are often challenged to access resources to support their career.
