Joining Forces with MAVEN Project
Direct Relief has joined forces with the MAVEN Project to provide telehealth services to clinics and health centers across the country. The MAVEN Project leverages telehealth technology to link volunteer physicians from over 60 specialties with primary care providers who serve underserved communities. Through this partnership, primary care providers can present de-identified cases to MAVEN’s volunteer physicians for prompt clinical guidance and expertise. These consultations help to lower referral rates and reduce patient costs. Additionally, MAVEN Project offers clinical mentoring, leadership coaching, and accredited educational sessions (CME). These comprehensive activities equip clinicians with the skills they need to manage complex cases more effectively. Through this initiative, Direct Relief aims to enhance the capacity and knowledge of its provider network.
Through our amazing partnership with Direct Relief, MAVEN Project is pleased to offer the Direct Relief Education Series, featuring monthly webinars on a variety of primary care, specialty care, and professional development topics. While these talks are designed for primary care providers in the healthcare safety net, we invite all to attend and learn. Enroll in future sessions or review past sessions by clicking the "Previous Sessions" tab above. As of January 2024, MAVEN Project is now providing AMA PRA Category 1 CMETM credits for live attendance at all Direct Relief Educational Session webinars.
